We take pride in our products, and we care about your satisfaction. If you are unhappy with your purchase, please notify us immediately (within 24 hours) of your concern. We will do our best to address the matter. When our items are personalized, we generally do not accept returns or give refunds.
However, if the product was produced correctly and you are not satisfied, let us know. We will do our best to work with you. If there is a mistake that we made, we will correct your order free of charge; however, we do not issue full refunds. We make ourselves available to address every issue promptly. To cancel an order, submit your request through our website Contact Form. Canceled orders will be subject to a 20% restocking fee if the order has been picked and packed. Packages refused by the customer, or undeliverable will be at the expense of the customer to reship. Our return policy is subject to change without notice and posted at all times.
Rosemary Honey is a home-based bakery licensed in North Carolina, insured by Food Liability Insurance Program (FLIP), permitted by Charlotte Zoning Department and home inspected approved by the North Carolina Department of Agriculture. Our Head Baker is ServSafe Food Safety Certified.
Orders that require delivery or shipping and cannot be delivered due to cause on the customer's behalf will be sent back to our bakery. Because of the nature of our business, after 24 hours, the items will be disposed of immediately. Should you require to reschedule the delivery or shipping, you will be responsible for an additional order, and shipping charge and NO refund nor store credit will be issued. Due to the integrity we uphold, we will not re-ship any products after 48 hours of baking. Please be sure to provide the correct information and confirm the delivery protocol for your community to ensure the package arrives on time.
We understand that plans can change and we will gladly assist you in making changes to your order date and time whenever possible. We accept weekday cancellations by phone or email within 24 hours of placing your order, and a full refund will be issued. This cancellation policy DOES NOT apply to bulk, wholesale, business, or custom orders. There is a non-refundable 50% deposit that applies to all bulk, wholesale, corporate or custom orders. Please be sure to review your plans thoroughly before placing your order.

Items are shipped Monday-Wednesday. They will arrive within 1-3 business days. Shipping is costly because food products are expedited. Bakery orders are sealed in a food-safe bag to maintain freshness and prevent air from drying out the product, then they are boxed and ribbon tied for delivery. For shipping, we place the ribbon-tied box into a shipping box packed tight with shipping paper and powder dry ice to ensure it is safe from all the handling and travel. WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO SELECT OVERNIGHT OR TWO-DAY SHIPPING FOR ALL DELIVERIES THAT WILL ARRIVE PAST TWO DAYS.
We do not ship frosted cakes nor cupcakes; they are only available for local delivery or pick-up. For dietary restrictions, please list your request in the Special Instructions section when you check out. We offer sugar-free and gluten-free. We ship to the lower 48 States. We do not ship to Alaska and Hawaii. Unfortunately, we cannot ship to P.O. boxes, APO, or FPO addresses.
When your order is fulfilled, you will receive a UPS tracking number via email. We require 72 hours for a turnaround before your item is shipped; we bake every order fresh. If you have a rush request, please call us at (704) 972-8332 to discuss. All orders are shipped only Monday through Thursday to avoid any delays that would compromise your items' timely delivery.
Upon receiving your delectables, please be sure to properly wrap and refrigerate pies, cobblers, and cakes with fruit, icing, glaze, and frosting to preserve the freshness. For more extended storage wrap your cake with plastic wrap and foil and refrigerate up to one week or keep frozen with plastic wrap, aluminum foil or freezer paper, placed in a freezer storage bag it will stay fresh up to six months. Always thaw your cake on the counter without unwrapping for the best results.
We strongly caution individuals with severe nut, wheat, and dairy allergies against consuming our products because we are not a nut/wheat/dairy-free bakery. Before placing your order, please inform us if anyone in your party has a food allergy.
We do offer both gluten-free and sugar-free items. Please call or email us to discuss and place your order. We do advise customers with gluten, nut or dairy allergies to err on the side of caution and refrain from eating our baked goods since we bake with wheat (gluten) flour and dairy products on our premises. For dietary restrictions please list your request in the Special Instructions section when you check out.

We are a home-based bakery, so pick-up is not an option. However, we will deliver locally to surrounding Charlotte Mecklenburg areas; a delivery fee will apply. The best way to place an order for shipping is through our online ordering system.
We recognize sometimes the unexpected happens, and a last-minute dessert for a special occasion becomes your number one priority. That's why we offer several options for a quick turnaround at a moment's notice. Just contact us directly by phone or email to place an expedited order, we got you covered! An additional fee will apply to fulfill orders with less than 72 hours for a turnaround.

We recognize there are many dietary options, and we always look at new menu items. We do have hopes of expanding our selections to offer vegan items in the future. At this time we do not offer vegan options.
